ACM contributed to a significant development in the capacity building of museum facilities and staff expertise in 2006, with the successful completion of the Danzanravjaa Preservation Project.
Through staff training and improvements made to museum storage facilities, this project has enabled the future preservation of what is a remarkable part of Mongolian and Buddhist heritage. The Cultural Heritage Program in 2008 continues to develop and implement projects that contribute to the capacity of Mongolian museums to serve as custodians for Mongolia’s cultural heritage.
