WACC visit to Mongolia

During July, 2007, the ACM hosted three senior conservators from the Williamstown Art Conservation Center (WACC) in the frame work of the bilateral exchange between the WACC and the ACM. The visit was aimed to receive an overview of conservation and preservation activities, and needs in Mongolia and to attend meetings with representatives from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Cultural Heritage Centre of Mongolia on further collaboration.

In April, 2008 three Mongolians representing the Ministry, Cultural Heritage Centre and ACM will travel to the United States to observe activities at the WACC and to discuss the next steps for future collaboration.
