The ‘Harmony in Diversity’ International Creative Youth Art Camp

The “Harmony in Diversity” Creative Youth Art Camp, a joint project of the ACM and Seoul Youth Center for Cultural Exchange (MIZY center) formed an important cultural exchange, improving the life skills among Mongolian & Korean youth and involving them in the creative process.

This project give 60 youth and 6 artists from two countries the opportunity to stay at the “Chingisiin Khuree” tourist camp surrounded by beautiful nature during August 3-9, 2007.

The project was aimed to help young students to develop their cognitive and artistic abilities, to increase awareness on the different art forms through the contacts with professional artists, to improve their understanding on other culture, namely cultural diversity and to render a good opportunity to exchange some useful practices and teaching methods among Korean and Mongolian artists.

The youth had also opportunities not only to create art and to develop their life skills through different arts, but also were able to present their works in a collaborative exhibition to be shown at the “Xanadu” Gallery in Ulaanbaatar.
