“MIO” Swedish- Mongolian theater project

The ACM has collaborated with the “Assitej” International theater association on MIO Swedish and Mongolian Theater project during November 2-9, 2007. this project is aimed to establish an exchange of experience and knowledge regarding working methods and attitude to children’s theater as an important part of the theater repertoire and it provided opportunities to share and exchange experiences and skills that develop the theatrical, pedagogical and artistic knowledge of Mongolian artists.

During the five workshops “Theater management”, “Children’s play”, “Children’s book writing”, “Directing and Acting” and “Truth, Phantasy, Lie” on November 5-8, 2007, the State Academic Theatre of Drama and Admon company provide venues for the performances and the workshops and the Swedish Consulate Office in Ulaanbaatar provided vehicle support.

In five workshops were over 80 Mongolian art managers, artists, directors, teachers and students were involved.
